Airfal expands its customer base in Dubai

Airfal International returns very satisfied from Light Middle East 2016 trade fair, Dubai’s lighting fair, which took place on October 31st, November 1st and 2nd. The Aragonese manufacturers received in their booth more than 200 people interested by the products of its catalog.

Airfal International traveled to Dubai last week to attend the Middle East’s most important lighting fair, Light Middle East 2016. This fair took place on 31 October, 1 and 2 November at the International Convention and Exhibition Center in Dubai. The meeting brought together more than 370 exhibitors from 31 countries around the world, which showed the latest developments in the sector.

Airfal International received in its stand more than 200 visitors interested in its catalog. Manuel de Dios, Export Manager at Airfal, was very pleased with the visits received. “We have a lot of contacts in the Middle East area and we were looking for regular customers, but we did not imagine that we would receive so many people interested in our products.” Although it was not the first time the company came to the fair, this time was the most fruitful in terms of quantity and quality of established contacts.

The luminaries of greatest interest were the Pyros luminaire and the Piston Eco luminaire. The first of these luminaires is a fluorescent ATEX luminaire made up of a polycarbonate tube and aluminum lids, which can be installed in areas classified as Zone 1 and 21. The Piston Eco is a LED luminaire with LED modules that has an IP65 protection index, making it suitable for installation in damp and outdoor environments. In addition, this luminaire has the F mark which enables mounting on normally flammable surfaces.

In addition to these two models, Airfal came to the meeting with its Flame, Secure, ATEX range of luminaires, and the Oven model, a waterproof light fixture that has been developed to be used in extreme conditions, as well as the Secure LED light fixture, that was launched only a few weeks and combines the quality and saving of the LED modules, with the robustness and resistance of the ATEX luminaires.

When the economic crisis began in Spain, Airfal made a firm commitment to export and since then its international sales have been growing steadily. At present, 50% of the production leaves our borders and of that percentage more than half remain in the France. But in addition to France, Airfal sells to areas as diverse and distant as Australia, Senegal, Mexico or Ireland.

For more than 15 years Airfal has also been in the Middle East area with a growing presence in countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Oman, Jordan, Kuwait and Bahrain among others. It is an emerging market that values ​​Airfal’s “Made in Spain” enormously, the quality of its products and its competitive prices.

These include projects such as the Qatar Mall, Al Furjan Villas in Dubai, the Wafra Real Estate Business Center in Kuwait, the Gulf Hotel in Bahrain or the Presidential Guard Center of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, among others.

After the fair, commercial relations with existing customers have narrowed and what is also very important, new there are many new business prospects for an even greater presence in the area.
