New products, new designs and new strategy at the Airfal Sales Convention
Airfal International has gathered its national sales network to present this year’s new developments, among which is the launch of the new division of Projects and Large Accounts. Likewise, the representatives have discovered the products on which the R & D department is currently working and that will be launched in the coming months, among other innovations.
Airfal International has celebrated its annual National Sales Convention. During two days, the company gathered in Zaragoza its entire commercial network. Throughout the meetings held on September 21 and 22, the figures for 2016 and 2017 were presented to learn about the current situation of the company, and the objectives and directions of work for 2018 have been established.
Another objective of the Sales Convention this year was the presentation to the entire commercial team of Airfal to the new division of Projects and Large Accounts. Airfal management is committed to this area of work, and Raul Alegre was hired last July for that purpose. This division seeks to have more control over projects that are being carried out, and a much more direct contact with prescribers, engineers and architects, to introduce the product range and to be able to adapt to their demand.

In addition to this information regarding sales, the sales network discovered the new Airfal luminaires. These are models for which the R & D department has been working for months, and that will be launched on the market in the coming weeks. The Product Development department has committed itself to ATEX lighting and to the LED module, a combination that only Airfal is able to carry out in Spain. Although the products are still in the process of homologation and certification, the first tests have already been carried out and the sales network was able to discover the first models.
The flexibility of Airfal’s R & D department is one of the company’s greatest assets. The company is able to personalize its catalogue and to adapt its products to the demands of customers. Therefore, the sales conventions are also an important source of information that nourishes the R & D department.
In addition, the the latest major investment of the Company was presented, a 3D printer that allows to manufacture small parts and prototypes. This allows the manufacture of customized products in small runs, such as covers or accessories of different colours.
The Department of Marketing also had the opportunity during this National Convention to present important innovations in the design of the information material used by the team.
The design of the assembly instructions, which are enclosed in the packaging of the luminaires, has been modified for greater understanding. From a very complete document, with a lots of textual information, to a very graphic and intuitive design. The assembly instructions, which are sent together with the orders from this week on, are accompanied by an explanatory video of the installation of each model, which is also available on the web and a YouTube channel
Following the same approach, the new design of the catalogue and the technical data sheets were also shown, focusing on the prescribers and architects, with a much more visual approach.
In addition, the marketing team of Airfal has released the latest reprint of the High Technical Specification Diptych, a document that gathers ATEX luminaries and high technical specifications, their characteristics and main applications, to ease the understanding of the catalog and unite in a single document our most succeful range of products.
