Airfal ATEX luminaires seized the public’s attention in the Light and Building show
Airfal International doubles the number of visits at its Light & Building stand, which was held between March 18 and 23 in Frankfurt. Its range of ATEX light fixture has been the protagonist of this edition of the fair and its new LED industrial range of luminaires for large installations have also aroused much interest.
Airfal International returns from the Light & Building 2018 very satisfied with the results obtained this year, as they have far exceeded their expectations. According to Manuel de Dios, head of exports of Airfal International “This year we have received more than twice as many visits as at Light & Building 2016”, a figure is excellent.
It is the most important fair in the lighting sector in Europe and the event brings together all the major manufacturers in the world. Architects, engineers, prescribers and installers are interested in knowing the new trends in lighting. Therefore, this is a very positive result for the company.
Airfal took advantage of the fair to launch its new catalog, which features fourteen new models developed by the R & D Department of Airfal and manufactured entirely in the company’s facilities.
Airfal focus on ATEX lighting
Over the years and given the high qualification of its technical team, Airfal International has specialized in ATEX lighting, a type of lighting that is very demanding in terms of regulations.
According to de Dios, during the last two years, the ATEX lighting range has grown with six new luminaires, meeting the demands of visitors interest as seen on its booth. “This year, we have received many more requests for information about ATEX lighting than in previous fairs. I believe that this year has served to finish placing us as a benchmark in ATEX lighting and sheds light on the value of manufacturing in Spain luminaires for explosive atmospheres “.
According to de Dios, customers are increasingly informed and more demanding in their requests because they value the quality of the products, “It no longer serves any product imported from Asia, but the customer demands quality and, above all, guarantees. You can only offer that when you control the manufacturing process, and when you work with the best suppliers. And we do so ”
Of all the new ATEX luminaires, the WATEX, a model for Zone 2-22, watertight IP66 and IK07, highly demanded in the industrial lighting sector, stood out, since its luminous comfort and ease of installation make it perfect for almost any site qualified as Zone 2.
Another very successful product of the Airfal range was the ATEX LED MAX Projector. Alight fixture very different from the rest of the range as it is an aluminum luminaire that can be used as an industrial projector or Hood light depending on its placement, and that reaches an emission of up to 26,800 lumens, with an IP66 watertightness and protection against IK07 impacts. This luminaire is approved for Zone 2-22 with “nR” protection.
Lighting for areas of high technical specification and large surfaces
In addition to the ATEX lighting, Airfal added to its range of technical lighting major new luminaires created to meet the demand of clients and prescribers.
The responsible of Exports, Manuel de Dios, highlights the curiosity that raised the LED CARRIL “The visitors asked us a lot also for the LED CARRIL. It is comfortable, easy to install and offers high luminous efficiency, and is perfect for installation in industrial warehouses and supermarkets. ”
The spirit of Airfal
Airfal wanted to reassess in Frankfurt its compromise with Corporate Social Responsibility, and presented its Corporate Social Responsibility memory under the GRI criteria. Ester Ariza, CEO of Airfal International, explains what it means for the company to show this aspect of the company. ” Some workers with intellectual disabilities do perform work in all our luminaries, and 2% of the annual benefits are donated to entities that work with these groups of people. It is important for us that customers know where their money goes to when they buy our luminaires and the wellness they bring to society. “
