Situation:

During the internal conveying of rolling bearing washers, the sensitive and scratch-sensitive surfaces are often damaged. Expensive reworking or rejects are the result. In order to prevent this, a gentle conveyor belt is to be used going forward, which is also suitable for conveying the different sizes of bearing washers from A to B without any problems.

Solution:

With its flexible and adaptable fibres, the Mink MBS system provides the optimum solution. After the grinding process, the rolling bearing washers are removed from the grinding machine by robots and placed on the brush belt. The fibres, which are adapted to suit the material to be conveyed, reliably prevent damage to the washers. At the end of the conveyor belt, another robot removes the components and feeds them to the subsequent production process.
