DANA BREVINI ON CAPTAIN NEMO’S TRAIL

A successful application in Production Support Vessels

Once more the commitment, expertise and cooperation with the Partners have lead the Dana Brevini team to a new successful application in Production Support Vessels, known as PSV, for the offshore Oil & Gas industries.

The solution developed by Regional office Triveneto, together with the support of Dana Brevini Application and Engineering departments of the plants of Reggio Emilia and Bad Homburg, will be the main drive in 4 bucket elevators to be installed on a PSV.

The scope of supply for Dana Brevini is not limited though to the only material bucket elevator, but the complete driveline in the material handling system on the vessel.

Drive package for the elevators is composed as follows:

Main Motor

Elastic Coupling and Disc Brake on HSS

Main gearbox in High Power version, bevel helical gearbox with planetary stages in output and Shrink Disc LSS connection

Auxiliary gearmotor complete of engage and disengage system

Torque arm complete of shock absorber

Swing base
