The new CAPTRON Product innovation SC3 for two-hand safety control

The new CAPTRON SC3 has a capacitive button for the two-hand circuit safeCAP, which is approved for the most common Siemens analysers, offering even more flexibility and compatibility. The system is different from the SC4 version because instead of an A and B button, it operates two functions in the same button - the SC3. In addition, the M22 thread for simple bolting provides the advantage of easy changeover from a mechanical button with the common 22.5 mm mounting hole.

The SC3 has a closed output, making it suitable for use either as a start or stop button or as a two-hand control with a 3SK1 Advanced, 3RK3 MSS or Simatic F-CPU Siemens analyser. Compared to using the SC4, many customers save the time-consuming and costly process of carrying out acceptance for one’s own analyser.

Switching response is indicated by two bright orange or green LEDs. In addition, the SC3 comes in a compact design that is just 20 mm high with a touch surface of 50 mm. The button can be used in two-hand circuit safety technology and in industrial automation for controlling equipment and machinery.
