CoreTechnologie Software 3D_Evolution adapted to Industry 4.0 and 3D printing technology

CoreTechnologie has adapted its 3D_Evolution software version 4.1 to augmented and virtual reality, as well as industry 4.0 and 3D printing.

CoreTechnologie has adapted its software 3D_Evolution to Industry 4.0, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Additive Manufacturing. Version 4.1 of the Simplifier module of the conversion software meets the requirements of digitization trends such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Additive Manufacturing. The automaker BMW combines 3D printing with virtual reality in vehicle development, offering engineers a new option for prototype development.

The Simplifier module of 3D_Evolution generates in seconds an envelope geometry from detailed CAD models for the protection of know-how. The new FBX interface of the module reduces the CAD models enormously from all common formats and can save them in AR and VR standard.

The number of polygons can be minimized by 90 percent or more, so that even large models can be viewed smoothly with mixed reality goggles. The CAD format of the aircraft industry has been supported by 3D_Evolution 4.0 since May 2017.

Additive Manufacturing was considered with the support of the new AMF and 3MF formats. As part of a subsequent major release of its own tools, the software company is working on a next-generation 3D software .

The conversion software 3D_Evolution is already in use by over 500 companies worldwide. Latest formats such as CATIA V5 R27, CATIA V6, NX 11 and JT 10.2 , as well as the new aerospace file standard STEP AP242 are supported for lossless conversion between all common systems. Three to four new releases and service packs each year ensure that updates are always up-to-date and well in advance of normal industry update cycles.

The software 3D_Evolution offers an efficient and lossless exchange of complex data structures between independent and heterogeneous CAX software solutions. The files can be converted into all common 3D formats.
