CREAFORM INAUGURATES NEW HQ

New facility at Innoparc Lévis paves way for expansion and creation of 150 new jobs

Lévis, Québec, November 30, 2017—Creaform, a leading global provider of game-changing 3D measurement solutions and engineering services, officially opened its new factory headquarters today at Innoparc Lévis in Lévis, Quebec, in the presence of key partners and customers.

The 76,000-square-foot facility will play a crucial role in Creaform’s growth strategy in the years ahead. Built at a cost of $20 million, it triples production capacity and doubles the space available for the company’s fast-growing workforce.

“For an innovation-based company like ours, human talent is asset number one,” said Catherine Thomas, Director of Human Resources at Creaform. “Now that the new factory headquarters is open, we’ll be moving full speed ahead to fill over 30 positions currently available in R&D, engineering, and production as we work to meet our target of 150 new employees within five years.”

R&D, manufacturing and assembly, engineering services, and administrative operations have all been relocated to the new building, along with part of the sales and support team.

Room to grow

“We are absolutely thrilled with the new facility,” said Creaform founder and Business Unit Manager Martin Lamontagne. “Our aim is to double sales and significantly expand our workforce over the next five years. Adding space and production capacity was an essential step on the road to that goal. The new headquarters will also provide a home base for our international employees and the growing number of clients who come to us for product training.”

Eco-friendly design features

In addition to upgrading its production infrastructure and technology, Creaform also incorporated green building techniques into the project to reduce the facility’s environmental footprint and create a luminous and welcoming workplace that qualifies for LEED certification.

“I tip my hat to our project partners, the team at Coarchitecture and the people at Ronam Construction,” said Martin Lamontagne.

“They helped us obtain LEED certification with features like abundant natural light throughout the building, passive solar water heating, high-efficiency mechanical systems, and a site-friendly location near bike paths and walking trails. Our employees love it.”

The new facility at 4700 rue de la Pascaline has been in operation since November 20.
