NEW MODIFIED ACRYLIC ADHESIVE FOR LOW ENERGY SUBSTRATES

NEW MEMBRANE TAPE

We are very pleased to announce the availability of a new modified acrylic adhesive, hx20.

This adhesive is designed primarily, to provide very high levels of initial tack, to substrates that typically are considered to be low energy or otherwise problematic.

This adhesive has a similar character to our existing family of modified acrylics, all of which display a good balance of adhesion and cohesion across a very wide variety of surfaces and substrates, including felts, foams, textile, non-wovens and films, including PU.

The hx20 adhesive is designed to provide high tack, so its cohesion should always be tested in the application specific.

This hx20 adhesive can provide improved adhesion to spun bonded and woven textile, various films and difficult, porous surfaces, such as wood, painted steel and concrete, where high tack and good peel strength is critical.

For design and customization purposes, this adhesive can be used to produce, transfers, double and single coated products and may be utilized in depositions of 50 to 200gsm.

This high deposition transfer adhesive is designed to provide a high performance splicing, joining, mounting and fixing solution for substrates and surfaces that are considered to be problematic, due to combinations of low surface energy and/or rough and structured surfaces.

Presented in standard form, as a 40mm wide adhesive, with extended liner both sides, to facilitate ease of storage and handling, whilst also providing a finger lift, for quick and easy removal of the liner by the end user.
