3-A SSI Compliance

DonadonSDD products for aseptic applications have been designed to meet the high quality standards required by 3-A SSI, an American no-profit corporation whose aim is to ensure public health through hygiene equipment.

Rupture discs are particularly used in the Pharmaceutical, Food, and Biotechnology industries, and are particularly suitable for C.I.P. (Cleaning-In-Place) and S.I.P. (Steaming-In-Place) processes and productions that comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

PTFE gaskets, which are certified in compliance with FDA and USP class VI, 3-A, and Eu 10/2011 regulations, facilitate the installation of conventional rupture discs (tension loaded), such as the SCD and DCD models, and reverse acting discs (compression loaded), such as the SCR, Y90, and KRD models, into Clamp fittings (sanitary, Tri-Clamp, Tank Connection).

Thanks to NanoScored technology, our rupture discs are entirely made of AISI 316L stainless steel or other alloys (depending on the requirements of our clients). They also feature a smooth surface in contact with the process, and are available in a wide range of pressures and diameters.
