Dam dredging in Colombia

DRAGFLOW provided equipment for removing sludge and sand from the bottom of the dam wall

A Colombian hydroelectric plant needed to remove sand and sludge accumulating at the bottom of the dam wall.

DRAGFLOW supplied an electric dredge pump EL606S with high depth package, as the customer required to dredge up to 45 m below water level.

Moreover, a spring driven reel has been supplied for the automatic recovering of the 60m electric cable of the pump. The reel, together with the electric control panel, was installed at the top of the dam wall.
