ebm-papst strengthens U.S. business with second location

With a second U.S. manufacturing facility, ebm-papst is strengthening its business activity in the North American market. In Johnson City, Tennessee, the world leader in fans and engines will produce fans for cold, climate and ventilation applications in the future. Ebm-papst currently moves into an existing production building and will start mass production from September 2019.

In the industrial park near Johnson City, the fan specialist has also acquired a 12-hectare plot of land to build a new plant there in a second step. Over the next five years, ebm-papst plans to invest around USD 37 million (EUR 33 million) in this project and employ up to 200 people.
