USAGE AREAS

UNSTABLE VOLTAGE: VOR Regulators can be used in any facility where the continuous and efficient working conditions are affected by the unstable,fluctuating grid voltage. Unstable voltage negatively affects the performance and efficiency of the machines. IPR regulators solve these problems.

HIGH POWER APPLICATIONS: VOR regulators can be used for voltage optimization and regulation with in the facilities which have more installed power than 3MVA. As the protection and switching units are not manufactured for that high power ratings, high power can be maintained by connecting two or more power tranformers parallely. With the parallely connected power transformers, voltage regulation can also be done by using the equal quantity parallel voltage regulators.

REDUNDANCY: VOR regulators are also designed for redundancy applications. When all the regulators are on, they work with %80 capacity; in any case of a problem on one of the regulators, all load is shared by the remaining regulators. If more regulators are turned off then the facility can still run but with decreasing the work load.

DESİGN: VOR regulators are maintenance free and have long life time. Thyristors which are controlled by high tech CPU units and softwares are switched on grid frequency and on voltage zero transition. Switchings don’t make any harmonic noise. Thanks to its special design, up to %60 unstable voltage can be regulated fast and uninterruptibly in 3-5 cycles.

PROTECTION: VOR regulators are equipped with electronic protections to maintain safe and long lifetime. There is a manual By-pass along with the standard input circuit breaker(ACB), optional output circuit breaker(ACB) and short circuit protection. IPR’s standart protections: over load, over temperature, low/high input voltage, low/high output voltage, phase cut and frequency error warning and protection. Optionally earth leakage, phase sequence error and neutral lost protections.
