Fasten automatically 1 threaded M20 cap complete of washer and 2 M8 pins diameter 8 mm on underside carter (oil pan) of internal combustion engines

Required production rate is 80 pieces / hour.

Fiam manufactured a semi-automatic tightening machine which includes:

- manual loading and unloading of the component

- automatic tightening of the components

- automatic management of waste pieces.

Automatic tightening of the CAP and its WASHER

- 1 feeding unit for caps

- 1 feeding unit for washers

- Automatic tightening unit of the caps made up of:

- A double movement fastening slide, positioned on xy pneumatic axis with pick and place device with three horizontal positions. The slide lodges a DC driven electric motor with direct control which performs tightenings programmed by feed and control unit.

Pins insertion and pressing

Station for waste unloading

Defective and not complying pieces, are automatically detected, picked up and placed into the inner part of the machine to avoid that the operator confuses the OK pieces with NOK ones.
