Superior tension member and release characteristics combined

New polyolefin conveyor belt scores top marks in the confectionery industry for strong tension member and superb release characteristics

Forbo Movement Systems’ new polyolefin Transilon E8/2 Xo/A2 MT-NA- HACCP white FDA conveyor belt was developed for use in long cooling tunnels, the extrusion of sticky fruit and muesli bars and consequently for the high pressure of a forming roller.

The excellent release characteristics on the top face are a real bonus when processing and conveying sticky products. Tests under real world conditions at international confectionery manufacturers prove just how good the belt is.

In addition to the new polyolefin type’s above-mentioned release characteristics, special, dirt-resistant impregnation on the underside prevents dirt sticking and protects the belt from contamination at the same time. The non-antistatic version also makes it suitable for use in metal detectors. Further applications are drying machinery and check-weighers in the wood-processing industry, or the chemical industry due to the polyolefin coating’s exceptional resistance to chemicals.
