HARDNESS TESTER FOR STUDENT TRAINING

HTL KLAGENFURT EQUIPS TESTING LABORATORY WITH TESTING TECHNOLOGY FROM HEGEWALD & PESCHKE

At the Höhere Technische Bundeslehranstalt Klagenfurt, prospective engineers are taught in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and mechatronics. There are a large number of workshops, laboratories and competence centres on site. Emphasis is placed on the topics of e-mobility and green energy. The university has now chosen Hegewald & Peschke's testing technology for the training of its students.

The supplied testing machine is a hardness tester of the type HP250 MHSR, which is used in the practical student training. It is a fully automatic machine with a motorized stage, a 6-fold revolver equipped with three objectives and three indenters. The hardness tester is therefore suitable for standardised hardness testing according to Vickers, Brinell and Rockwell in the load range from 0.2 to 250 kg.
