Hiller on the IFAT 2016 in Munich

From 30 May to 3 June 2016 the IFAT fair opens its doors in Munich. It is the world’s leading fair for Water, Sewage, Waste and Raw Materials Management. Hiller presents at this occasion its new and advanced products in their core field of decanter centrifuges for industrial and local authorities district dewatering.

Hiller has 45 years of experience in the development and production of innovative and sustainable solutions for water and sewage treatment and thus is one of the internationally leading producers of decanter centrifuges. On the forthcoming IFAT the Bavarian engineering company can now present a number of innovations.

The new Decanter Series – another step advance of a tried and tested concept

For the first time ever Hiller presents on this year‘s IFAT its new and more powerful series DecaPress DP664 and DP764. Here the tried and tested sizes up to 760 mm have been also adapted to the new DecaPress Design. Now the design corresponds to individual customer requirements in their different fields of application.

A big advantage are improved clearing and dewatering properties due to the advanced rotor geometry and the powerful driving system. The economic efficiency of the decanter has been one of the most important criteria for years now for all new and advanced Hiller products. The new series succeeded in achieving maximum economic efficiency due to minimum polymer, energy and water consumption. Calculations concerning economic efficiency show how fast a decanter pays for itself. An ECO Cockpit can perform simple economic efficiency calculations on the Hiller IFAT booth - together with and for existing and future Hiller customers.

Visitors can inspect the new decanter series in the open-air area (01A booth) in a 45 foot trailer with explanations from Hiller experts.

The booth in hall A1 (No 150) shows in addition a compact plant DP31 in ATEX design and a model of the new centrate control which is also installed on the new DP764 in the open-air area.

Optimum operational safety with the new Hiller Centrate Control

This innovative and newly developed system is presented for the first time on this year‘s IFAT. The system – which has been applied for patent - monitors the quality of the centrate water with the help of an object sensor and optimizes it at the same time. This helps on the one hand to keep the process stable. But it also results in a significant saving of costs by optimizing the polymer amount and thus avoiding unnecessary overdoses.

Visit us on the IFAT, hall A1 – booth No. 150 – we will be happy to present you our innovations personally.
