Emergency phone to help prevent suicide attempts
Since 22 May 2012 six bright yellow emergency phones
became active on the Story Bridge to help prevent suicide attempts. They are located on the bridge
approaches and centre on both sides of the bridge. Several clear help signs with contact points for Lifeline
are also located on various positions on the bridge.
Now ,it's the 6th year, they are still working well !
