M12 Power: The family is complete

HUMMEL AG presents new power connector range

The M12 Power connector series has grown. At the SPS in Nuremberg, HUMMEL AG will present a complete range of these compact power packs. Check out the new versions at the HUMMEL stand in Hall 4, no. 336 from 22 to 24 November.

The product range includes moulded and freely assembled cable and coupling connectors, as well as moulded right-angle connectors. In addition, there are also four types of free-assembly connector plug. All models are available in four different codings: K, L, S and T.

In particular, the variety of free-assembly connector plugs is unique. Whether for front or rear mounting, single-hole or flanged - users will find the perfect solution for almost any application. For environments requiring especial media resistance, stainless steel versions are also available. All cable connectors are designed to be shieldable and are thus EMC compatible by default.

The performance of this power series is also convincing. Offering a transfer of 16A at a rated voltage of 630V, the M12 Power sets completely new standards. The M12 connector is now also suitable for use in drive technology. However, use with a servomotor requires significantly higher thermal stability than conventional M12 applications. For this reason, HUMMEL AG dedicated itself to the development of new materials. For the contact carrier, we had to select a thermally resistant and dimensionally stable material which was also capable of meeting the geometric requirements. The result was a material with temperature resistance of up to 125° Celsius. This ensures that constructors remain on the safe side, even for drive technology applications.
