NEWS FROM THE WORLD OF GASES – INMATEC GaseTechnologie GmbH & Co. KG presents process issues

INMATEC reduces the Air Factor.

The new NKat System use the Inmatec PAN technology.

In this particular process, the produced nitrogen from the PAN generator is enriched with hydrogen. In the subsequent catalyst, the hydrogen reacts with the remaining residual oxygen.

The result is a higher nitrogen purity. Since first quarter of 2015 we are able to allocate the NKat System with a significant lower air factor. Heretofore there was a air factor between 4 an 8, now 2.9 is possible. The advantage of the new NKat System is the significantly reduced compressed air requirement. Through this process, substantial smaller compressors are used.

At the same a higher purity is achieved.

Furthermore INMATEC produces the new nitrogen and oxygen generators with PAN technology (Power As Needed) which are the world''s first mass-produced, usage-based and energy-optimised gas generators. The PAN process facilitates optimum utilisation of the active carbon molecular sieve''s adsorption potential. INMATEC PAN generators are extremely efficient and particularly suitable for fluctuating levels of consumption. A constant supply is achieved without any change in purity. Compressed air consumption can also be drastically reduced, as only the amount of compressed air actually needed to produce the required volume of nitrogen and oxygen is used. There are no idle cycles. The efficiency of the new INMATEC PAN technology promises to achieve savings from the very first minute of operation and also reduces CO2 emissions. Low-maintenance valve technology, compact design and constant availability of high-purity nitrogen and oxygen are other outstanding features of INMATEC PAN technology.
