Up to eight axes over a width of only 7 cm

The new servo amplifier ECOMODUL meets every challenge in the mechanical engineering due to its modular design.

Key component of the amplifier is the basic module. It controls two servo axes. The fieldbus interface for CANopen as well as STO-functionality for all connected axes are integrated. Furthermore two digital inputs and one output with 24 V (e.g. for a holding brake connection) are available by axis. The ECOMODUL is designed for DC-low voltage supply.

Additionally places for axis-, I/O- or customized modules exist in the ECOMODUL, e.g. for an external encoder system or other fieldbus interfaces. Depending on the necessary functionality the amplifier can control up to eight axes and measures not more than 145 (D) x 72(W) x 214 (H) mm.

The modular design facilitates the adaptation of the device to different applications. Instead of new development the modules can be configured quickly and easily.

The equipment costs are clearly reduced, and the amplifier including customer-specific equipment is available for the mechanical engineer significantly faster.

An LED-status display, a service button e.g. for recall of settings for customized programming, a micro-USB parameterization interface as well as a strain relief for the cables provide an optimum operability.
