JINPAT High-Current Slip Ring Made Another Breakthrough

The slip ring is a precision device that transfers signal and/or current between two mechanisms with relative rotation. With the upgrading of automation equipment, more and more large-scale mechanical equipment use high-current slip rings to improve the transmission, so as to improve the operation efficiency.

The high-current slip ring manufactured by JINPAT Electronics is customized according to the application field and the actual environment:

Recently, JINPAT Electronics made another breakthrough and designed the large-scale high-current slip ring LPA000-09800-01PE-3020-04L, which is customized for the marine engineering floating crane. The high-current slip ring has a record-breaking size of 5.07 m3, with the width of 1.3 m, the length of 1.3 m, and the height of 3.0 m. It is the largest slip ring designed and manufactured by JINPAT Electronics.

The high-current slip ring is difficult to design as it integrates 9 circuits of 800 A, with 1 circuit grounded, and 30 circuits of 20 A. 4 large-diameter rotary unions are integrated inside to transport high-temperature liquid medium. To facilitate cleaning and maintenance, the high-current slip ring was designed with empty frame and detachable windows for maintenance.

After a series of strict tests, the high-current slip ring has met the requirements of the customer and is highly recognized. In the future, it will serve on the floating crane.
