Servo controller for stepper and BLDC motors is now cULus listed

The new Kuhnke FIO Drive Control for controlling stepper or BLCD drives is now approved for the US and Canada market. With its excellent performance the drive control module has already passed its first missions in robotics with flying colors: "In the tests with your controllers, we could" - as a leading robot manufacturers said" use a system with good quality and excellent operator and configuration interface... ".

This extremely compact controller is universal for controlling stepper motors as well as brushless DC motors with up to 15 amps peak current. It fits perfectly into the IO module system Kuhnke FIO manufactured by Kendrion in Malente. With the bus coupler the EtherCAT® interface can easily communicate with any EtherCAT master are used. In addition, its embedded Web server makes it easy to configure the drive controller very fast. Therefore, you need no additional software installation and can use any PC with LAN connector and web browser.

Especially by using stepper motors the magnetic field oriented vector control with sinusoidal commutation, provide high dynamics, high efficiency, quiet running and low running noise. In this mode, it is correcting step errors while driving and balancing load angle errors within a full step. By constantly monitoring motor current, the controller works with only necessary electricity supplies as needed. The result is a very high energy efficiency.
