Kendrion Kuhnke Automation at the Analytica 2018

For the second time in a row Kendrion Kuhnke Automation presents the latest developments in locking technology, valve technology and laser shutters. You can experience these and other exciting innovations at the Analytica 2018 in Munich.

For this year's Analytica from April 10 to 13, 2018, we would like to welcome interested trade visitors who want to experience new solutions in the field of analysis technology. Germany-based Kendrion Kuhnke Automation has been very busy since the last Analytica. Engineers at the Malente facilities in northern Germany have developed new, smart solutions to help manufacturers of laboratory and analytical equipment developing innovative solutions to their applications.

For example, the locking technology product line has been expanded to include two new solenoid locks. Their miniaturized design is perfectly suited for use in applications with limited space. A very robust mechanical design and high closing forces make this product an everyday all-rounder for the automated opening and closing of doors. Typical applications are, for example, incubators or climate cabinets.

As part of the optical shutters product line, we show you how we use our know-how to turn a simple Kuhnke rotary solenoid into a complete laser shutter system that safely and reliably ensures the blocking of a laser beam even at high laser powers.

In the product line pneumatic / fluidic assemblies we have been working intensively on an advanced sub plate technology. With this development, the Kuhnke AirBoards® have been further expanded. Thanks to sophisticated laser manufacturing technology, the new sub plate system FluidBoard® is now also suitable for applications in laboratory and analytical technology. Combined with the 97-type Kuhnke solenoid valve, even aggressive and demanding media can be switched safely and reliably. This combination eliminates external wiring and tubing and reduces dead space to an absolute minimum in any critical analysis application.
