AKMH Stainless Steel Servo Motors

With innovative AKMH stainless steel motors, Kollmorgen has developed a scalable solution for motor tasks in the packaging, food processing and pharmaceutical industries. The compact unit in sizes two to six are therefore used specifically in machines with direct product contact and aseptic processes.

THE AKMH motor is one of the world's smallest stainless steel servo motors. With IP69K rated maximum environmental protection, the new range offers a torque density of less than 20 percent when compared with standard servo motors – avoiding the design limitations of other manufacturer’s stainless steel motors. A further highlight: the AKMH series is available with our single-cable option for our own SFD digital resolver or Hiperface feedback systems. At just 11 mm diameter, the advantage is not only reduced cabling effort but you only require half of the normal cabling passing through your machine - and have only half as much stress on hygiene.
