L.B. Bohle highlights clear goals at Interpack

New Managing Directors Tim Remmert and Thor-sten Wesselmann stand for continuity

In their role as new Managing Directors of L.B. Bohle Maschinen + Verfahren GmbH, Tim Remmert and Thorsten Wesselmann will introduce themselves as the new management duo at the Interpack trade fair. The former Head of Sales and Head of Technology are well-known members of the management board of the Westphalian specialist machine builder. “We stand for continuity,” states Tim Remmert. The joint trade fair appearance with the specialist for tablet presses – the Berlin-based Korsch AG – demonstrates further development projects and a workshop on continuous production in the autumn of 2017. These steps mark a clear vision for the future of L.B. Bohle.

At first glance, L.B. Bohle Maschinen + Verfahren has gone through major changes in the previous six months: Two new managing directors have taken over operational responsibility from the company founder Lorenz Bohle, who joined the Advi-sory Board. An even closer cooperation with Korsch AG will be announced at the Interpack trade fair with a joint booth as a sign of comprehensive solution expertise. At the same time, continuous production is being pushed ahead with numerous customer tests at the Technology Center in Ennigerloh. Solid particle production in the pharmaceutical industry is going to reach new dimensions.

“All the changes that can be seen now are the result of con-sistent, long-term development and do by no means represent an abandonment of our previous strategy,” Managing Director Tim Remmert and the owner Lorenz Bohle declare in unison. “We are taking the next important steps,” states Lorenz Bohle. He regards the successful generation change as well as the on-going development of continuous processes as a good basis for a medium-sized machine building company to compete with global companies in the future.

Workshop at the Technology Center in September

“Through the cooperation with Korsch and Gericke as well as with the universities HHU Düsseldorf, RWTH Aachen and the Rutgers University in New Jersey, L.B. Bohle has prepared the ground for meeting the high requirements of automation,” ex-plains Tim Remmert. The modular combination of individual systems and the integration of cutting-edge measurement and analysis technologies offer optimized solutions for the individual requirements of the pharmaceutical solid dosage industry.

Customers obtained information on the status of continuous production and its benefits at Interpack in hall 17, booth B 43 and B 51. From 19-21 September 2017, L.B. Bohle has organized an international workshop on the development of continuous productions in pharmaceutical production at the Technology Center in Ennigerloh.
