The Oberhausen-based LEANTECHNIK AG manufactures partial and fully functional equipment based on its lifgo and lean SL precision gearboxes that combine mechanically operated horizontal and vertical lifts. The systems distributed under the leantranspo trademark perform lifting and position tasks for the most various applications.

LEANTECHNIK engineers develop equipment or full systems tailored to individual customer specifications, which include further components, drives and steel structures in addition to the lifgo or lean SL precision gearboxes. Our development engineers take advantage of our proprietary rack and pinion gearboxes for all leantranspo systems: Compact housings combine drive and guide elements in a single unit. Transverse forces are neutralised effectively, while the design also improves the bending resistance and ensures vibration-free position operations. In addition, grippers, clamps, vacuum devices, or other auxiliary devices can be installed at the ends of the gear racks. Lengths, clearances, lifting speeds and carrying capacities can be selected ad lib, depending on the system.

From transfer and handling to pick & place, and shuttle & transfer – leantranspo systems are suited for the most various applications. This way, simple linear axes or rail shuttles can be realised just like 2-axis portals or 2-axis transfer systems. 3-axis positioning systems, like the recently introduced DAP (Drei-Achs-Positioniersystem – 3-axis positioning system) enable flexible movements across the space. 4-axis systems e. g. serve as pick & place equipment for sheet metal handling applications.
