NiCorAl™ 500 hours salt spray corrosion resistant finish

LEMO launches a new surface treatment for rugged connectors. Ideal for use in harsh environments, the new NiCorAl surface treatment improves protection against corrosion (MIL spec salt fog resistant). The surface treatment, when applied on aluminium will greatly increase the lifespan of your equipment. The connectors treated with the solution were fully tested according to AECTP 300 / MIL-STD-810 / MIL-STD-202 standards, for instance the aluminum bodied M Series have passed the 500 hours salt spray test.

Developed in LEMO’s state-of-the-art facilities and particularly suitable for aluminum alloy connectors, it is a specially-formulated Nickel Teflon coating in an anthracite dark grey colour satisfying the requirements of both RoHS 2 and the forthcoming REACH 2017 regulations.
