TOLPLAN MEISER

The company SERABA located in Ablis (Paris area) recognized metalworker in the profession, was in touch with MEISER for the manufacture of a cladding on a residential building.

The building is located in a new district in Asnières (Paris area). This is six floors building concrete wall brown coating. The architect wanted to sign his building by dressing the ground floor with perforated metal sheets brown coated.

SERABA proposed to the architect several perforations in the MEISER planking range. After prototyping, the TOLPLAN perforation was chosen.

With large perforations of 16mm diameter stamped to the bottom TOLPLAN planking possible to dress the building in a very original and harmonious way, while preserving the security, especially for the children.

Indeed, the TOLPLAN doesn’t have any projecting area or cutting façade of the building in TOLPLAN planking sendzimir and coating.

To realize the 160m2 of cladding, MEISER has supplied 165 profiles of different sizes in steel galvanized sendzimir Z 275 thickness 2mm, 30mm high and maximum length 3215mm. galvanizing in the underside of the coating ensures correct corrosion resistance even when the coating is burst.

These profiles, self-supporting, accept well the cuts and completion.

This project illustrates the interest for an architect to divert the original application of the planking systems (stairs, footbridges) for building cladding.

Conclusion : an original architectural signature with the cost of industrial series products.
