Microscan Launches Trade-in Program for Barcode Verifiers

Do you use an ISO, AIM or GS1-compliant verification device? It might be worth more than you think.

Microscan Systems, Inc., a global leader in industrial barcode reading, verification, and machine vision technology, has launched a trade-in program for its LVS-9500 Verifier Series in EMEA. Any ISO, AIM or GS1-compliant barcode verification device is now worth than most users might think. The trade-in program takes place from 15 March until 31 August 2017. During this time, Microscan will offer a €500/$550 cash rebate on any Microscan LVS-9580,

LVS-9570 or LVS-9510 verifier for each eligible verification device returned to Microscan.

Verification is the measurement of the quality of a 1D barcode or 2D symbol according to an agreed-upon quality standard. Microscan’s Barcode Verifiers are embedded off-line solutions that include camera, software, and precision illumination specifically designed for the verification of 1D/2D codes and direct part marks (DPM) to ISO/IEC standards. Microscan’s LVS Barcode Verifiers are fully-integrated solutions designed for accurate, reliable verification to application standards such as GS1, HIBC, USPS, and ISO/IEC 15415/15416. This program will lower the threshold for users to bring their verification equipment up to the latest standards, ensure compliance, and manage their code quality in the best possible way thanks to superior code analysis tools. In addition, they will benefit from the ease-of-use of the LVS barcode verifiers.

The LVS-9510 Barcode Verifier is ideal for stationary desktop verification, the LVS-9570 Handheld Barcode Verifier for omnidirectional, multi-label verification across any surface, and the LVS-9580 Handheld DPM Barcode Verifier for complete mobility in an ergonomic handheld design. Barcode verification software grades codes against GS1 and ISO/IEC barcode quality standards and offers detailed analytical tools for verification, reporting, and diagnosing quality issues to enable independent problem solving. All barcode verifiers are 21 CFR Part 11 compliance-ready.
