Heavy duty AGV transfer cart– Capacity 20 ton

Morello designed and manufactured an heavy duty AGV transfer cart for an Italian Company.

This heavy load AGV trolley uses the colored guide tape technology. The AGV, by appropriate guide sensors can follow the path of a colored tape (scotch tape or painted tape).

The advantage of this AGV system is that it is possible to change the path anytime it’s needed without any hardware or software modification, on the trolley and in the plant.

The heavy load AGV trolley it is also equipped with a skid under the trolley in order to recharge the battery without connecting any cable. The trolley is simply placed on the skid on ground (by AGV guidance) in order to start recharging.

Our particular heavy load AGV trolley is able to turn in very narrow aisle since it has both the axles steering.

It can also be used in manual mode by a switch on remote controller or on the main cabinet.
