NEUE HERBOLD - Shredder for solid and thick-walled profiles and pipes

Convincing advantages:

The size reduction is shared out to 4 shafts.

The rather small diameters of the shredder shafts result in a reduced cutting force.

The low drive speed of the shredder shafts decreases the noise level considerably.

The result of this optimization is an efficient size reduction of tough plastics like PE und PP, high operating safety, low knife wear which reduces the operating costs considerably, compared to conventional pipe granulators.

Feeding is done via a horizontal feeding trough. During the feeding procedure the trough is separated from the cutting system by a hydraulically operated gate. This guarantees high operating safety. The force-feeding of the material to the shredder shafts is done by a load-controled system which is either driven by a hydraulic piston or via a steel cable, depending on the length of the feeding trough. The load control optimizes the capacity of the shredder.

To achieve a material size of < 15 mm a granulator is installed downstream to the 4-shaft shredder.

Like all machines supplied by Neue Herbold Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH the HZR 1300/4 is manufactured in the factory in Sinsheim in well known quality “Made in Germany”.
