PALCOM P7 - EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL

The PALcom P7 is a PALFINGER in-house developed radio remote control. This completely new kind of radio remote control system was designed under direction of our own design department in cooperation with external experts and research facilities. It is is tailor made for loader crane operation, not least of course, because we have also been talking to the real experts, the crane drivers.

The exclusive loader crane RRC-handset is characterised by a modern ergonomic design. The hand rest and the arrangement of the control levers are designed for fatigue-proof operation. A centrally arranged control knob “PALdrive” and an intuitive menu navigation with a large display offer easy and save operation.

DISPLAY

The PALcom P7 is equipped with a 4.1 inch TFT-color display. The display can be read in bright sunlight thanks to its transflective technology and is nevertheless very low in power consumption. The operator is informed exactly about the different operating states and is guided clearly and safely at any time.

INTELLIGENT CHARGING STATION

The “intelligent” charging station checks the charging condition and the temperature of the battery as well as the temperature of the environment. This allows a gentle and fast charging process. Furthermore the charging station checks its own proper function and the correct function of the battery. Both operating conditions are shown on the charging station. On top of that, the charging station offers a refresh-function, which provides the full battery capacity over the whole battery life cycle.

INNOVATIVE SAFETY FEATURES

Additional to the common safety features of all usual modern radio remote controls, the PALcom P7 is equipped with a rollover protection and an acceleration sensor. Both functions further improve safe crane operation by preventing unintentional crane movements.

CARRYING STRAP

PALcom P7 is available with two carrying straps. Both straps are ergonomically optimised for a fatigue-proof handling. Large contact areas prevent pressure marks on the body.

The generally common belly belt is part of the standard delivery. The innovative diagonal belt can be ordered additionally.
