AIPO Verona, training course for millers

The training course for millers organized by AIPO Verona in collaboration with Pieralisi Group ended on 25 September.

The course falls under an initiative aimed at improving the professionalism of the oil industry operators (mills) with the objective of increasing the level of knowledge and intervention of the staff during the routine maintenance.

Pieralisi company, fully sharing the spirit of Aipo initiative, has given full availability in the organization of the course providing tools and technologies that will help to give information on the latest industry news.

This initiative, which will last for the period 2015-2017, is aimed at improving the quality of extra virgin olive oil. It will increase also knowledge of participants on the phases of olives processing and their influence on chemical and organoleptic characteristics of the extracted olive oil.

Since the processing for the quality of the product and its centrality in the olive oil industry is very important, a greater efficiency of the operators will have a positive effect both upstream (producers) and downstream (consumers), with an increase of added value for all the actors in the sector.

The course was developed in five days, 21 to 25 September 2015. The first three days were held at the headquarters of AIPO in Verona as the days of 24 and 25 were held at the headquarters of the Pieralisi Group in Jesi, where discussions in classroom and visits to the plants of the Group took place.

The course ended with the presentation of attendances on Friday 25 September afternoon at the Federico II Hotel in Jesi.

Being on this new challenge, Pieralisi Group will support initiative to increase operators knowledge and professionalism.
