PLATFORM BASKET’S SPIDER MAKES AN ENTRANCE AT EIMA

For the second time in a row, Platform Basket confirms its attendance at EIMA 2018, the International Agricultural and Gardening Exhibition, due to take place at Bologna's exhibition centre from 7 to 11 November.
Starring at the Platform Basket stand - Pavilion 25, B24 - will be the Spider range.
A series of tracked lifting platforms which has allowed the Reggio firm to achieve a leading place on the international market in the sector.
Platform Basket’s Spiders can reach different working heights, ranging from 12 to 43 metres. They are fitted with adjustable tracks and simple, intuitive controls.
The platforms are stable, yet easy to transport: together with a compactness that does not affect their use in limited spaces, this makes them an excellent choice for tasks that are difficult to access using conventional platforms.
Platform Basket's investment and efforts are focused on a quest for greater versatility of use, more environmentally-friendly solutions and a more comprehensive range of products.
Research into versatility has led to new features for Spider 22.10 and Spider 27.14 (22 and 27 metres working height respectively): now available as an optional extra is an interchangeable winch that can safely lift weights of up to 250 kg.
In a couple of minutes and with a few easy steps, the articulated platform can be turned into a lifting device.
In its quest for more environmentally-friendly solutions, Platform Basket now offers machinery powered by lithium ion batteries, replacing the more conventional lead-acid batteries.
This decision brings benefits not only in environmental terms, but also in terms of bulk, versatility and reduced pollution.
To complete its range of products, the firm has developed Spider 30T and Spider 43T, taking Platform Basket into the field of tall platforms.
