Absolute Encoder Kit
Miniature encoder kit for the measurement of absolute linear position
POSIC launches the linear absolute encoder kit AP3403L. It uses a 2-track Nonius scale and provides two SSI outputs, from which the absolute position is calculated. The absolute stroke ranges up to 38 mm. The standard scale has a length of 538 mm and can simply be cut to the desired length. The encoder housing is extremely small and measures only 11 x 11 x 0.9 mm, the scale thickness is also only 0.9 mm. Due to its Eddy-current sensing principle, the encoder is robust against dust, particles, oil, grease, liquids and immune to magnetic fields.
Target markets include industrial and laboratory automation, medical devices, laboratory-equipment and robotics.
