Reifenhäuser Kiefel Extrusion Renamed Reifenhäuser Blown Film

Effective January 1st, 2015, Reifenhäuser Kiefel Extrusion, the expert for blown film technology with locations in Worms and Troisdorf, Germany, changed its name to Reifenhäuser Blown Film GmbH

With this step, the management board of Reifenhäuser Group underlines again the complete integration of Kiefel acquired from Brückner Group in 2009. At the same time, the change in name marks the begin of a strategic change in the Business Unit that will be integrated more closely in the group’s work-sharing processes from now on.

Reifenhäuser will invest over two million euro in the Worms site to expand the in-house machining of parts. A large vertical machining center will be moved from Troisdorf to Worms. Furthermore, a new 3-D measuring machine will be bought. “These investments enable us to further optimize the material flow, expand capacities, and sustainably ensure the quality for future demands“, says Bernd Reifenhäuser, CEO of Reifenhäuser Group.

CEO of Reifenhäuser Blown Film is Dr. Fritz Dorner. Already on 01.10.2014, he had assumed this position from Bernd Reifenhäuser who will now concentrate again on his role as CEO of Reifenhäuser Group.
