The 29,300-pound Cat 313F L GC excavator has a 70-horsepower, Tier 4-Final, C3.4B engine that operates in high-power or economy modes. Engine idle shutdown stops the engine after a preset interval.

The excavator has a new hydraulic system with load sense pump and main control valve that calculate work demands. Optional high- and medium-pressure hydraulic circuits are available, as is a quick coupler.

Front linkage pins on the arm have self-lubricated bearings. The 15 foot 3 inch boom can be used with either an 8 foot 2 inch stick, or a 9 foot 10 inch stick.

The cab is sealed, insulated and mounted with viscous pads. The adjustable seat has mechanical suspension. The machine’s monitor stores hydraulic settings for up to 10 attachments.
