Laser Contrast Sensor Includes Fixed Background Suppression

The Q3X laser contrast sensor is now available with fixed background suppression, enabling the sensor to reliably detect targets within the desired sensing range while ignoring objects in the background

Out of the box, it detects targets within its 50 mm sensing range and can be programmed for low-contrast sensing within this range, while ignoring objects at least 60 mm away. Other features include part detection as fast as 250 μs, the ability to capture up to 2,000 events per second, a unique angled, three-digit display of signal intensity, and a nickel-plated zinc die cast housing.
