A-BLQ-E Series Closed-Loop, Belt-Driven Linear Stages with Built-in Stepper Motors, Encoders and Controllers

Zaber’s A-BLQ-E Series products are computer controlled belt-driven linear stages with built-in stepper motors and controllers

Each stage has a built-in rotary encoder, which allows for closed-loop operation with slip/stall recovery features. These stages are stand-alone devices requiring only a standard 48 V power supply for operation.

A-BLQ-E stages are ideal for rapid positioning over large distances, offering travel lengths up to 2.1 m and maximum speeds up to 2.0 m/s. With a 20 kg load capacity, excellent torsional stiffness and 10 µm repeatability; these stages are also suitable for precisely positioning relatively heavy loads.

These stages connect to the RS-232 port of any computer and can be daisy-chained with up to 254 other devices per chain. Multiple A-BLQ-E stages can also be assembled in XY configuration without additional hardware.
