GOEBEL IMS featured its Interslit slitter winder for mid-sized packaging films at ArabPlast in Dubai

The new model handles widths from four to seven meters and can run at 1200 meters per minute. Launched last October, it expands the company’s line of machinery designed for narrow and wide film. The company supplies the UAE’s Taghleef Industries, one of the world’s largest producers of food packaging film. Sales manager Patrick Lindemann envisions increased demand in the Gulf region for more compact, less costly equipment, and is currently applying the concepts behind their heavy-duty machines to smaller models for film widths below 1.6 meters.
