With all the furore over 3D printers, standard ink jet printers don’t get any publicity. Primera Technology has launched a new printer that it’s pretty sure will take all the accolades. The Primera Trio is being billed as the “world’s smallest and lightest all-in-one printer” at this year’s CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas, US. It weighs just 2.7 lb (1.2 kg) and is roughly the size of a hardback book . The printer has two feeds, one for A4-sized paper and the other for postcards, photos and other stationary measuring 4 x 6 in (10 x 15 cm). The printer prints and scans in both color and monochrome and can run on an optional battery pack that prints up to 100 printed pages on a single charge. The Primera Trio is reputedly selling for USD$399.95 and is ideal for those who want to print, copy and scan on the go.
