No Focusing or Alignment Needed with the Field of View Video Measurement System

Vision Engineering has recently added multiple part measurement capability to its Xpress range. The Xpress 70 is a ‘field of view’ video measurement system that provides ultra-fast and highly accurate 2D measurement. Measuring multiple parts couldn’t be easier with the Xpress 70, as no alignment or focusing is required. By placing your parts in the field of view, you can rapidly and accurately measure literally hundreds of features in seconds. Vision Engineering claim measurement time can be significantly reduced by using its system. Thanks to its straightforward design training, on the Xpress 70 takes minutes rather than hours, which can translate to economic savings for customers. The system gives simple pass, fail results which increases user efficiency. It uses a high resolution video camera, paired “with a ‘flat field’ telecentric lens system. This provides a completely flat image, without any curvature or distortion.”
