Hirschmann are the first in the industry to incorporate Parallel Redundancy Protocol (PRP) technology directly into a wireless device (WLAN firmware). PRP can significantly increase the reliabilty of a wireless connection.

Also, by incorporating the PRP within the product, a separate PRP-Redundancy-Box is no longer required which saves on hardware.
