F1 Engine Performance Aided By Innovative Oval Gear Flow Meter

Formula 1 is a high precision sport, every aspect of the cars must be measured and recorded. So, when the veracity of fuel flow figures was called into question, Titan Enterprises stepped in with their Oval gear flow meter series.

Titan’s flow meters have been put to use in other parts of Formula 1 cars including the hydraulic system. Furthermore, Titan’s Oval gear flow meter design resolved the question over how to measure the high flow of coolant water at the elevated temperatures – found in Formula 1 engines, 200°C and above – without causing a large drop in temperature.

Titan produced a 200°C, 50 L/minute flow meter with a pressure drop of less than 100mBar!
