SNAKECAM-12 BY MEDIT INC.

A compact camera with the latest illumination system and advanced viewing abilities

October 2013, North American Medit Inc. announced the release of a new compact snake camera, the SnakeCam-12, meant to be one of the most efficient available on the NDT (non-destructive testing) equipment market. The specificity of the SnakeCam-12 lies in the fact that two particularly bright LED lights were added to the six regular ones, for optimal inspection, no matter the environment. This remote visual equipment allows to explore HVAC systems, shafts, sewer, drain inspections, vents and any other place with limited access. The camera and probes are IP 57 waterproof and the camera head diameter is wide enough to fit additional lights and a high-resolution camera. Additional features include a solid control unit with a color 3.5” LCD display, which fits in the hand and flexible or flex-and-stay probes. The user can either view the videos immediately or decide to save them to a SD card. Thanks to the SnakeCam-12, inspection footage is limpid and precise. There clearly is a reason why Medit Inc. successfully conquered the NDT markets in more than 30 countries.
