Urban shelter and electric car charging point, all in one
You may have noticed, we are 100% in favour of devices combining performance, thoughtful design and new generation power energy solutions. That said, you will not be surprised we could not resist featuring the Lotus system, designed by Italian architect Giancalo Zema for Luminexence (teaming up with Tecnopali). Lotus consists in a giant leaf, popping out of the ground, equipped with photovoltaic panels and available in various colors and size (to guarantee perfect integration in its surrounding environment).
Lotus can offer shelter when needed, is illuminated via a LED bulb to create clean energy and features an electronic screen with all sort of information (news, traffic info etc.). Its second great function is to recharge electric cars with a 500W to 2.8KW capability of energy production. Hopefully this plant will grow in the urban jungle!
