ISORG RECEIVES FUNDING BOOST FOR ITS ORGANIC PRINTED SENSORS

$8.7 million in Funding Moves ISORG Towards Mass Production

Fresh from a recent funding round, ISORG is ready to move towards mass production of its organic image sensors. ISORG raised $8.7 million in new funding and is a spin-off from the Printed Laboratory of CEA Liten. It develops photo-detectors and large area image sensors in organic and printed electronics.

Recently, ISORG joined forces with Plastic Logic to develop an organic printed image sensor that combined complementary technologies pioneered by both firms. The product of this collaboration was the creation of a sensor with a flexible, transmissive backplane that features a 4 x 4 cm active area, a 94 x 95 pixel array with a 375 µm pitch.
