A BOEING 777 MADE FROM MANILLA FOLDERS

A San Francisco designer’s 1:60 scale model made only of paper and glue

Check out this amazingly detailed project by San Francisco based designer, Luca Iaconi-Stewart. The young creator, exposed to paper model reproduction in high school, set out five years ago on a mammoth task – to create a 1:60 reproduction of a Boeing 777 - using only Manilla folders and glue! The highly detailed project consumed so much of his time that he dropped out of college. His principal inspiration came from comprehensive schematics of an Air India 777 – 300 ER he found on the internet. True to his meticulous nature, Luca recorded each stage of his creative endeavour on camera.
