3D-PRINTABLE RC CAR WITH TOPSOLID

DIY: design your own 3D remote control truggy!

Car lovers and engineers-to-be will adore this news! Swedish Daniel Norée made his a surprising mission: to design a remote control truggy – a cross between a monster truck and a buggy – using a 3D printer. And guess what?

He succeed in doing so with TopSolid 7!

Daniel Norée built all the parts composing the truggy with the new generation of CAD/CAM solution. He first printed them out on a Makerbot Replicator 3D printer before assembling them one by one. Describing the result as “impressive” might not even be strong enough…

The good news doesn’t stop here: anyone can experience it! RC fun for everybody! Don’t you love it when creativity and technical projects are accessible to all? We do and are grateful for that: thank you and amazing work TopSolid!

The RC truggy design is open source, meaning the project files and 3D print can be downloaded at home for a special workshop. The creation process might be even more exciting than the result…

Check out more about the OpenRC truggy here and be sure to watch the video revealing all the little secrets!

See you on the race course…
